MEET THE TEAM
ANNETTE ARGABRIGHT
Annette is a permaculture educator, designer, and homeschooler located in North Texas. She holds two permaculture diplomas and, as a certified Permaculture Diploma Tutor, mentors others through their diploma process. She recently completed a water management course through OSU and has designed and taught internationally, leading teams of professional designers and installers.
Learning as we did when we were children should not change just because we grew up; that is how she plants the seeds of education. Making connections with families around the world fulfills her. Her passions also include camping with her grandchildren and solo hiking.
CHANEL SMITH
Chanel is a certified permaculture designer & educator with expertise in native plants, medicinal herbs, and pollinator gardens. She is passionate about making permaculture accessible to everyone and empowering people to reclaim their health and food systems. Chanel loves teaching beginners and believes permaculture holds the key to solving many of the world's challenges.

She has taught Permaculture Design Courses (PDCs), helping others earn their certification. Chanel has also elevated communities by designing permaculture demonstration sites and creating community spaces.

An heirloom gardener and regenerative living enthusiast, Chanel believes healthy food is a birthright. When not teaching or designing, she enjoys wild foraging, gardening with her son and community, and hosting her monthly Ecstatic Boogie and Drum Circle—a celebration of People Care and connection.
