ALLAN CAMPBELL

Hi everyone, my name is Allan. I am originally from  Uruguay but now live in Costa Rica. I am a father of 2 beautiful boys. I am a Permaculturist, an environmental consultant and a mechanical engineer. I really enjoy understanding how things work. I love to see ecosystems thrive especially with food abundance. I am enchanted  by wild food and foraging. The ocean and the mountains give me peace. I love surfing and love being in nature in general.

ANNETTE ARGABRIGHT

Hello! I’m Annette and I am a permaculture educator, designer and homeschooler located in North Texas. I knew I wanted to change the way I live life and when I found permaculture I knew it was the right path. Making connections with the world around me fulfills me. Recently I had the honor of receiving a diploma in Applied Permaculture and I am still celebrating! I also love to camp with my family in our new-to-us RV and practice art within permaculture.

CHANEL SMITH

Hey there! My name is Chanel (pronounced Shu-nell) and I'm a certified permaculture designer and educator, heirloom gardener, regenerative living enthusiast and homesteader! I believe healthy food is a birthright and I love empowering others with the knowledge of how to grow their own! I'm mama to a sweet little boy who is my official bean planter. In my free time you can find me having dance parties, cooking from scratch, foraging, hiking and catching frogs with my little one.

ABOUT FAMILY PERMACULTURE

Family Permaculture is a team of passionate professional permaculture designers and educators whose mission is to bring permaculture into the family setting! We achieve this by empowering families with education on sustainability and regenerative living through online classes, one-on-one coaching and consultations and by offering professional and holistic permaculture designs.

We, Annette, Chanel, and Allan met in 2019 during an Engaging Children in Permaculture Practioner's course through Children in Permaculture where we became inspired by Global Permayouth. Together we formed Permayouth Americas, an online community of youth from all over the Americas, and the world, who come together monthly to celebrate permaculture and to share and learn from one another.

Being blown away by the wisdom of these youth and raising small children ourselves, we quickly realized what the world of permaculture education was missing- family oriented classes for adults and kids alike! So, together we created Family Permaculture, a platform for families to learn and grow towards a regenerative future together!

At Family Permaculture, we value diversity and recognize that families come in all different forms, shapes and sizes and we welcome all of you into our growing family of change makers! We are honored to be a part of this movement!
